US tells PKK terrorists to hide their identities with masks, according to reports

Turkish security officials have disclosed that the United States has made a request to PKK/YPG terrorists, urging them to don masks during exercises. This directive aims to shield non-Syrian leaders from being exposed in the region.

The revelation of the U.S. request underscores the complex dynamics at play in the region, where strategic alliances often intersect with ongoing security concerns.

Reportedly, as the PKK terrorist group nears its demise, it is intensifying its final maneuvers. Recent developments include a gathering of PKK leaders within a zone under the control of Western allies in northern Syria. Turkish security sources have unveiled that following the seizure of PKK documents in Turkish possession, targeted operations against the militants have been executed using drones.

In response to these actions, the U.S. has issued a fresh demand to the terrorist organization. It has long been a practice for the U.S. to supply arms and ammunition to the PKK while engaging in joint exercises with trained militants in the area.

To mitigate tensions with Türkiye, the U.S. has requested that non-Syrian cadre terrorists conceal their identities by wearing masks during these exercises, a subject discussed in the recent meeting.

Throughout its nearly four-decade-long terror campaign against Türkiye, the PKK – designated as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the U.S., and the EU – has inflicted the deaths of over 40,000 individuals, spanning women, children, and even infants. The YPG stands as the Syrian counterpart of the PKK.
