ESPN, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery are partnering to launch a combined sports streaming platform in the US, with each entity owning one-third of the joint venture

In an era of skyrocketing TV rights fees, the entertainment giants ESPN, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery announced on Tuesday that they will be collaborating to launch a combined sports streaming platform.

The three media firms said in a press statement that a joint venture will be established to run the new platform, which will only be accessible to customers in the United States. Also, it is reported that each entity would own one-third of the joint venture, having equal representation on the board and license their sports content to the joint venture on a non-exclusive basis.
