The second part of the first phase of the prisoner swap deal between Hamas and Israel was completed as four Israeli women held in Gaza were released.
The women were handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross during a ceremony held at Palestine Square in Gaza City, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Members of Hamas’ military wing, Qassam Brigades, and the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, al-Quds Brigades, were stationed in the square for security purposes.
