Erdogan meets UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

Both leaders discuss steps that can be taken to improve bilateral relations and revitalize high-level bilateral cooperation mechanisms

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is in Dubai to attend the World Governments Summit, met with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Tuesday.

The leaders discussed steps that can be taken to improve bilateral relations and revitalize high-level bilateral cooperation mechanisms.

The discussions also addressed pressing global and regional matters, notably the ongoing Israeli assaults on Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Turkish flag was projected onto the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Erdogan on Wednesday will pay a one-day visit to Egypt’s capital, Cairo, in response to an invitation from his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
