At least 3 dead in stabbing at Solingen anniversary celebration in Germany
A violent attack during the 650th anniversary celebration of Solingen has resulted in at least three deaths and multiple injuries including four serious, according to local sources. The assault occurred at the Festival of Diversity, held in the city’s Fronhof marketplace, which had been transformed for the event.
The three-day festival, estimated to attract more than 80,000 visitors, was brought to a halt as the government suggested people leave the city center.
