US congressman admits Jewish lobby influence
In an interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., acknowledged the influence of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) on Congress.
During the interview, broadcast on YouTube, Massie stated that AIPAC operates as a political action committee.
Massie claimed that AIPAC makes Congressional candidates write articles like “homework” to attract them to its side. “This is a conditioning tactic,” he said.
They want you to do something simple for them. They don’t grade these essays; they just want to see that you, as a candidate, will do something for them. Because if you do, you are more likely to do what they want when you become a member of the Senate.

Massie recalled tension between himself and AIPAC in 2012 when he rejected a request from the committee. He said AIPAC then launched a smear campaign against him.
Massie alleged that AIPAC conducts its smear campaigns through the Evangelical Christian Church in the U.S. “They have an organization called United Christians for Israel and they coordinate the Evangelicals here in a way,” he said.
Massie also pointed out that AIPAC violates the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) in the U.S., noting that under the law, individuals or groups lobbying for foreign governments must register, but AIPAC does not do so.
He claimed that every Republican congressman except himself has an “AIPAC contact” and that AIPAC finances congressmen’s trips to Israel.
Massie added that only a handful of Republican members of Congress do not participate in these trips.
