The U.S. Defense Department has announced a new $500 million aid package to support Ukraine‘s defense needs in its ongoing war against Russia.

This is the 72nd tranche of military assistance since August 2021 and includes air defense systems, munitions for rocket and artillery systems and anti-tank weapons. The U.S. continues to collaborate with its allies to meet Ukraine’s urgent battlefield needs.
