US Congressman Matt Gaetz discloses that the U.S. is orchestrating military coups by training African commanders

U.S. Congressman Matt Gaetz made a statement on Tuesday, suggesting that the U.S. is involved in training African military commanders with the intention of enabling coups in their respective countries. Gaetz mentioned that he has sought comprehensive clarification from the Pentagon regarding these activities, emphasizing, “We are imparting training to African military commanders so that they can execute coups in their countries.”

Gaetz also indicated that the U.S. has orchestrated coups in African countries in the past. In his statement, Gaetz said, “Fifteen commanders who received training from U.S. security agencies have been involved in 12 different coups in West Africa and the broader Sahel region.”

Following escalating anti-French sentiment in Africa, coups supported by the Russian mercenary group Wagner have taken place, and coups in Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso have expedited anti-Western sentiment on the continent.

It has been noted that the U.S. aims to tilt geopolitical balances in its favor by scheming military coups on the continent.

The U.S. has been accused of organizing numerous successful and unsuccessful military coups in various countries since the 1953 Operation Ajax.
