Turkish Airlines called off some flights to and from Germany because of a strike planned for Thursday, announcing flights were canceled connecting the Turkish metropolis, Istanbul, and the capital, Ankara, to Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hanover, Dusseldorf, Leipzig, Stuttgart and Cologne.
