In a recent social media post, Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate for the upcoming November 5 elections, promised to bring peace back to the Middle East and criticized the Biden administration for ongoing instability, particularly in Lebanon.

“During my administration, we had peace in the Middle East, and we will have peace again very soon,” Trump wrote, blaming Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden for Lebanon’s current “suffering and destruction.”

He also vowed to “fix the problems” they caused.

Trump promises ‘real, lasting peace’

Trump stressed his commitment to achieving “real peace, a lasting peace,” and stated that it must be done “properly so it doesn’t repeat itself every 5 or 10 years.”

He also pledged to preserve “equal partnership among all Lebanese communities” and ensure that Lebanon’s people can live “in peace, prosperity, and harmony with their neighbors.”

Addressing the Lebanese-American community, Trump reiterated his intention to work with them to ensure the “safety and security” of Lebanon. He ended his post with a call to action, saying, “Vote Trump for Peace!”
