During the main session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted attacks on nuclear power plants by Ukraine, warning, “If we respond in kind, we can only guess what could happen in this part of Europe.”

Putin described the attacks on the Kursk and Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plants as “dangerous acts of terrorism.”

The Russian leader claimed that the Russian army has stabilized the situation in the Kursk region, stating, “The enemy tried to distract us from our advance in Donbas by attacking the Kursk region, but they failed.”

He noted that the people of the Kursk region are going through a difficult period due to these attacks, adding, “It is the sacred duty of the Russian army to do everything possible to drive the enemy out of these territories and protect our citizens.”
