The Health Ministry in Gaza reports that the number of Palestinian deaths from Israel’s lethal assault on the Gaza Strip has risen to 27,585, with 66,978 injuries

According to the Health Ministry in Gaza on Tuesday, the number of Palestinian deaths resulting from Israel’s lethal assault on the Gaza Strip has risen to 27,585 since Oct 7.

As the Israeli assault against Gaza approaches its 123rd day, the Health Ministry of Gaza claimed that the ongoing offensive had harmed 66,978 additional individuals. According to the statement, the Israeli army carried out 12 massacres throughout the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, killing 107 and injuring 143 civilians. The statement added that  “Many people are still trapped under rubble and on the roads, and rescuers can’t reach them,”

Since the cross-border raid by the Palestinian organization Hamas in October, which is thought to have claimed the lives of around 1,200 Israelis, Israel has been pounding the Gaza Strip.

The UN estimates that 85% of Gazans have been forced to flee their homes due to the Israeli invasion and that all of them are food insecure. Hundreds of thousands lack access to housing, and fewer than half as many relief trucks are now entering the region as before the violence.
