ATOMEXPO-2024, an international nuclear energy conference, begins in Sochi, Russia
An international nuclear energy event, ATOMEXPO-2024, will kick off on Monday in the Russian coastal city of Sochi.
The 13th edition of the forum, backed by the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation (ROSATOM), will convene under the theme “Clean Energy: Empowering Clean Future.”
Managers of government agencies, major vendors and companies in the global nuclear industry, public organizations, and international experts will attend the two-day event.
The participants will discuss the role of nuclear power engineering in the national strategies to combat climate change.
A plenary meeting, topical roundtable talks, and panel discussions will occur during the forum.
Multiple business meetings are expected to be held on the forum’s sidelines, and significant partnership agreements will be signed.
An exhibition will also take place at the forum where the leading companies in the nuclear industry and the related sectors will demonstrate their technologies.
Established in 2009, the ATOMEXPO International Forum is a vital congress and exhibition event in the global nuclear industry.
The forum, organized in 2022 under the theme “Nuclear Spring: Creating a Sustainable Future,” gathered more than 3,000 experts and visitors from Russia and 65 from all over the world.
