German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock referred to Russia’s war against Ukraine as the “greatest-ever threat to peace in Europe,” emphasizing the significance of the alliance in preserving peace and security in Europe.
During an interview with the German public radio broadcaster Deutschlandfunk, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock remarked: “NATO serves as the central pillar of security in Europe.”
Furthermore, the German Foreign Minister conveyed that Russian aggression poses the most severe threat to Europe’s security.
Baerbock recommended enhancing NATO’s capabilities to counter Russian aggression.
The minister underscored that supporting Kyiv is the sole means of ensuring freedom and democracy in Europe.
Baerbock highlighted the necessity for NATO to be a hub for coordinating aid to Ukraine.
