Masked attackers target Turkish Consulate in Greece’s Thessaloniki with molotov cocktails
Masked assailants attacked police officers with Molotov cocktails late Sunday night outside the Turkish Consulate in Thessaloniki.
While no injuries or property damage were reported, authorities detained 26 individuals in connection with the incident.

The incident occurred around 11 p.m. local time on Odos Agiou Dimitriou Street, where the Turkish Consulate is located.
According to local reports, a group of around 25 individuals with their faces covered launched Molotov cocktails at police stationed in security booths outside the consulate building.
Security forces responded swiftly to contain the situation, leading to the detention of 26 individuals. An initial investigation revealed that approximately 25 Molotov cocktails had been used during the attack.
