After Washington implemented punitive measures on a small number of Jewish settlers on Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that there was “no room” for US penalties on settlers in the occupied West Bank.
According to a statement from Netanyahu’s office, “Israel acts against all lawbreakers everywhere, so there is no room for exceptional measures in this regard.”
