Israeli opposition leader says Netanyahu poses danger to Tel Aviv’s security
Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid reiterated his call for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign, citing that Netanyahu poses a danger to the country’s security.
In a statement on social media, Lapid stated: “Netanyahu is a danger to the state of Israel, Netanyahu is a danger to its citizens, and Netanyahu is unfit to be prime minister.”
Lapid, leader of the Yesh Atid Party, argued that Netanyahu has “failed in managing the war in Gaza and southern Lebanon.”
“Netanyahu poses a threat to Israel’s security,” he asserted.
Lapid called for Netanyahu’s resignation, urging him to “go home.”
The opposition in Israel has long accused Netanyahu of making decisions based on personal interests to maintain his position and of failing to achieve the objectives of the attacks in Gaza.
