Israeli airstrike targets Hezbollah Commander in Southern Lebanon
A high-ranking Hezbollah Member in southern Lebanon was targeted by Israeli military aircraft, according to the Israeli Defense Forces
In a recent development, a “Hezbollah commander” in southern Lebanon was the subject of a targeted hit by Israeli military aircraft, the IDF disclosed to the media on Thursday.
The claim was that the individual was involved in cross-border rocket assaults. This confirmation comes after allegations from a security source in Lebanon that said that an Israeli attack on a car in Nabatiyeh resulted in severe injuries to a military member of the organization sponsored by Iran.
Officially, the strike was intended to target a person who was allegedly connected to several rocket launches that were aimed toward the northern Israeli towns of Kiryat Shmona and Metula. But whether or not these launches included the earlier-in-the-day rocket and missile assaults was not disclosed by the military spokesperson.
