An Israeli airstrike on the eastern Lebanese city of Baalbek left eight people injured, including two children, according to local reports.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Health confirmed that the airstrikes, which targeted the Bekaa region, injured six Lebanese citizens along with two Syrian children, aged 5 and 15. All of the injured were reportedly receiving treatment in emergency departments across the region.
Lebanon’s state-run news agency NNA reported that Israeli warplanes struck three towns in the Baalbek district. The affected areas included Duhur el-Ayrun, Curud Nebi Shit, and Suheyle, where Israeli drones were also seen flying overhead.
