Israel is on high alert following the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. As tensions rise, Iran’s response remains a critical concern for global observers.

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was photographed during a visit to the Jamkaran Mosque in Qom. This mosque is known for its historical significance in Iran, particularly during periods of national crisis.

Khamenei’s visit to the mosque, where he traditionally goes before making major decisions, has sparked speculation about imminent developments in the region.

Following Haniyeh’s assassination, Jamkaran Mosque displayed red flags on its dome and minarets as a symbol of vengeance. This action has been interpreted as a sign of Iran’s resolve to retaliate.

Israeli intelligence sources have indicated that Iran is likely to carry out a retaliatory attack within hours. According to CNN International, Israeli officials have reported that Hezbollah plans to strike on Aug. 12, while Iran is expected to launch its counterstrike . The escalating situation underscores the potential for further conflict in the region.
