Iran responds to terrorist attacks targeting 2 outposts
‘We will make the Zionists regret,’ declares Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei following the terrorist attacks on two outposts in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan Province
Iran responded to the simultaneous armed assaults carried out on a military facility belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Rask and two police outposts in Chabahar, both located in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
Following the attack, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei posted on X, saying: “The Zionist regime is moving closer to its decline and extinction day by day.”
The separatist Baluch group Jaish ul-Adl undertook responsibility for the terrorist attack in Iran.
Jaish ul-Adl has been conducting terrorist attacks in Iran with the claim of establishing a Baluch state.
“Terrorist attacks have occurred. However, the situation is under control,” Deputy Governor of Sistan and Baluchestan Ali Reza Mirhamati said.
Israel, most recently on April 1, targeted the Iranian Consulate in Damascus Syria. Thirteen people, including senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders, were killed in this attack.
Iranian officials believe that Israel, displeased with their support for the Palestinian resistance, targets them directly as well as through terrorist organizations.
It is stated that Iran could target Israel through militia groups.
