Three armed individuals attempt to infiltrate a police station in Yerevan’s Nor-Nork district, resulting in injuries to two assailants and one remaining outside the facility

Gunmen Sunday launched an assault on a police station located in the Nor-Nork district of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

The Armenian Interior Ministry stated that at 5:00 p.m. local time, three armed individuals attempted to infiltrate the Nor-Nork police station and detonated a hand grenade during their endeavor.

The explosion resulted in injuries to two of the assailants, who were subsequently hospitalized.

One attacker remains stationed outside the police facility.

Eyewitnesses on the scene recounted a tense situation as one of the attackers brandished a hand grenade at the entrance of the building, issuing threats of detonation.

Reports from local sources suggest the individuals involved in the attack may be affiliated with the “Combat Brotherhood” group.

Details regarding the extent of injuries sustained and the motives behind the assault are still under investigation by authorities.
