The EU to impose sanctions on four radical Jewish settlers and two radical Jewish organizations involved in violence against Palestinians
The European Council announced sanctions on four individuals and two organizations involved in “serious human rights abuses, including torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment.”
The organizations included in the sanctions list were identified as Lehava, which is known for its “radical right-wing Jewish supremacist” stance, and Hilltop Youth, known for violent acts against Palestinians.
Furthermore, it has been reported that two key figures from the Hilltop Youth movement, Meir Ettinger and Elisha Yered, have been added to the list. Ettinger and Yered were implicated in fatal attacks targeting Palestinian Muslims in 2015 and 2023.
The other two individuals identified were Neria Ben Pazi and Yinon Levy, who have been involved in attacks against Palestinians since 2021.
