Canada prepares new $1.1B military aid package for Kyiv

According to the Canadian government’s website, Canada’s 2024 budget proposes to supply Ukraine with 1.1 billion in military aid.
Canada has been one of Kyiv’s supporters since the start of Russia’s invasion.
Canada has supplied Ukraine with $10 billion in various forms of assistance, including $2.8 billion in military aid.
In addition, Canada pledged nearly $30 million to the Czech Republic’s initiative to supply Ukraine with artillery shells, which are crucial for Ukraine as it faces critical ammunition shortages. In comparison, $60 billion in aid for Kyiv from the U.S. remains stalled in Congress.
