Belgium to Expand Inquiry of Pro-Moscow Propaganda
It has come to light that Russia spread propaganda by dispersing inducements to shape public sentiment in Belgium.
It has been uncovered that Russia executed propaganda efforts in Belgium by disbursing inducements. The administration in Moscow, seeking to counter escalating anti-Russian sentiment in the European public, facilitated propaganda by disbursing inducements in Belgium.
A network of inducements also extended to legislators. It has been disclosed that among the recipients of inducements from Russia are not only journalists but legislators as well.
Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo, commenting on the issue, stated, “We have initiated an inquiry into legislators who received inducements from pro-Putin propaganda networks in our country.”
De Croo also underscored that Russia has been involved in espionage activities in Belgium. He remarked, “We will not permit Russia to infiltrate our nation.”
