Peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Berlin end with acknowledgment of the need for further work on key issues

The two-day peace agreement negotiations between Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, held in the German capital Berlin within the framework of the peace talks, have concluded.

It was stated that additional work is needed on some key issues in the peace negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

In a statement from the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, it was noted that “the Ministers and their delegations discussed their positions on the provisions of the ‘Agreement on Peace and Establishment of Inter-State Relations’. It was emphasized that additional work is needed on some key issues.”

It was also mentioned that Minister Bayramov thanked German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, who hosted the negotiations.
