ABC News has announced that it will air the televised debate between U.S. presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris on Sept. 10.

The announcement was made on the network’s X account after Trump said he was ready to debate his Democratic rival multiple times.

“We think we should have three debates,” Trump said, suggesting that the additional two debates be held on Fox News and NBC, respectively.

Harris announced at a campaign rally in Michigan that she would participate in the first debate in the U.S., after which Harris said she was open to additional debates.

ABC indicated that the debate would be moderated by David Muir and Linsey Davis.

At her campaign rally in Detroit, Harris said, “I look forward to debating Donald Trump, and we finally have a date like September 10th. I heard he finally promised to do it and I’m looking forward to it.”
