President Erdogan pledges to continue fulfilling the promise to rebuild and revitalize quake-hit regions

As the first anniversary of Türkiye’s catastrophic Feb. 6 earthquakes approaches, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday highlighted the advanced medical technologies and facilities that will elevate healthcare facilities for the quake-hit Gaziantep, reiterating his commitment to heal the wounds of quake victims.

Addressing the inauguration of the City Hospital, the president noted the extensive facilities of the medical center with a total capacity of 1,875 beds, including 265 intensive care and 30 dialysis beds.

The hospital also has a total of 64 operating rooms, 335 outpatient clinics, diagnostic and treatment centers and a parking lot to accommodate 4,500 vehicles.

Expressing optimism that the efforts will prompt quick dispatching of equipment and personnel shortages in certain units, Erdogan placed trust in the Ministry of Health to swiftly overcome these challenges.
