US cautions Russia against interfering in elections
During an interview with Russian state television, Putin states his preference for Biden over Trump, citing Biden’s predictability
United States cautioned Russian President Vladimir Putin to refrain from interfering in our elections after he expressed support for President Joe Biden winning a second term.
According to White House National Security Council Spokesperson John Kirby, Putin is well aware of the actions taken by this administration to combat Russia’s negative influence globally and within Ukraine.
Kirby emphasized the administration’s readiness to confront Russia’s activities, particularly in Ukraine, and issued a clear message to Putin: do not meddle in our elections.
During an interview with Russian state television, Putin stated his preference for Biden over Trump, citing Biden’s predictability.
He also mentioned Russia’s willingness to collaborate with any U.S. leader the American people chose.
