US-backed PKK in Syria seeks autonomy with Russian, Assad support

The PKK’s Syrian wing, receiving truckloads of weaponry from Western countries, is now planning for autonomy through a rogue local election. The scheme stretches from Kandil to Northern Iraq.

PKK attempts to establish a rogue state in Northern Syria

The PKK’s Syrian branch, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), is orchestrating an autonomy plan in Eastern Euphrates under the guise of local elections, facilitated by the West.

Initially scheduled for May 30, the election has been postponed to June 11. Türkiye has consistently opposed this separatist move, stating they will not permit the formation of a “Terroristan,” a sentiment echoed by some Kurdish groups in the region.

The terrorist map extends from Manbij in the west, covering Afrin and Tel Rifaat. It also reaches from the north of Raqqa-Tabqa and Deir Ezzor to Hasakah-Qamishli-Ayn Issa-Kobani-Celebiye, ending at the Jerablus border.

Talabani scheme

The second phase of the state declaration involves Talabani separating from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) to declare a federated state centered in Sulaymaniyah. Following the so-called parliamentary elections, Israel and European countries will establish symbolic representations, leading to partial recognition of this artificial state.

A center in Switzerland has been set up to manage the international relations of “Terroristan.” Sources informed Türkiye Gazetesi that the split-terror state will be managed through a co-presidency system, with an Arab figure appointed co-president during the transition period, continuing the SDG charade initiated in 2015.

Control in Qandil

As the epicenter of terrorism, Qandil remains the main hub for determining the process and names involved. The terrorist organization will retain initiative through shadow councils and courts, similar to the People’s Democratic Party (HDP) municipality model.

However, the intensified military operations by the Turkish Armed Forces in the region have repeatedly delayed the proposed formation.

Facing an artificial state plan

In an exclusive interview, President of the Independent Kurdish Union of Syria Abdulaziz Temo said: “This project is, above all, a betrayal to the Kurds. We are facing a completely contrived and externally ordered state plan.”

“They are legitimizing the manufactured authority of this terrorist organization to establish the ‘Ocalan Republic’ on Syrian soil,” he added.

“Direct autonomy is being granted to Qandil. This project, which has reached this point step by step, started with de facto occupation, followed by canonization, arms support, and the declaration of a social contract resembling a terror-state constitution. Subsequently, a rogue High Election Commission, Administrative Divisions Law, and Election Law were enacted. This political, legal, and administrative absurdity, enforced by military power, not only mortgages the will of free patriots but also violates all relevant international resolutions.”

“This absurdity operates according to foreign orders and a non-national agenda. I call on all of you not only to boycott these official elections but also to boycott this administration. We hold the international coalition fighting ISIS, which provides military cover to these terrorist militias, fully responsible for the consequences of these militias’ actions aimed at dividing Syria,” Temo maintained.

PKK at the Russian base

Twelve Western countries are providing full support to the PKK for the upcoming elections in the terror-occupied regions. The PKK, valuing Russia’s backing, is seeking to strengthen its ties with Moscow. Consequently, it has dispatched a delegation from Qamishli to meet with Russian officials at the Hmeimim Russian Base.

Reliable sources indicate the objective is to convene a joint meeting with the Assad regime at the exact location. Representatives of the PKK are attempting to secure approval for a map drawn by Western powers from both the Russian and Assad regimes.

Field reports highlight that the so-called election, which would signify the PKK’s declaration of autonomy, is scheduled for June 11. This will be closely followed by Syria’s national elections on June 15.
