Turks view US, Israel as biggest external threats: Survey

A recent survey conducted in Türkiye reveals that Turks perceive the United States and Israel as the greatest external threats.

According to MetroPOLL Research’s “Which Country Poses the Biggest Threat to Türkiye?” survey, 52.5% of participants identified the U.S. as the primary threat.

MetroPOLL Research founder and director Ozer Sencar shared the results on his social media. The survey asked participants, “Which country poses the biggest threat to Türkiye?”

The results were as follows:

  • United States: 52.5%
  • Israel: 19.2%
  • Syria: 3.0%

These three countries were followed by Russia, Iran, Greece, Germany, and China.

Additionally, 12.1% of the participants stated that they had no opinion.
