Turkiye’s MIT Academy starts accepting students
Individuals who meet the application requirements can apply to the Turkish National Intelligence Academy for the fall 2024 semester
The Turkish National Intelligence Academy, announced by Ibrahim Kalin, president of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT), will release details regarding the application calendar and process for admission to master’s and doctoral programs for the fall semester of the 2024 academic year.
The academy was established on Feb. 9, 2023, and began its operations on Jan. 6, 2024.
The academy will function as a university, with courses being taught by qualified academics. Prospective candidates will be able to apply for various programs, including but not limited to intelligence, security, regional studies, cyber security and cryptology, satellite-space systems, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and other similar programs introduced within the academy.
Prof. Dr. Talha Kose, president of the National Intelligence Academy, graduated from Boğaziçi University’s Department of Political Science and International Relations and received his master’s degree from Sabancı University’s Conflict Analysis and Resolution program. Kose received his PhD from George Mason University’s Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution and has lectured as a visiting professor at George Mason University (U.S.), Maastricht University (Netherlands) and Marmara University. He took part in the establishment process of Istanbul Şehir University and Ibn Haldun University and served as the head of the department, and worked in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Istanbul University Faculty of Economics.
