Türkiye’s defense and aerospace sector has achieved a historic milestone, with exports reaching $5.76 billion in the first 11 months of 2024, according to the Turkish Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB).

  • November exports: $637.2 million, reflecting a 32.3% increase compared to the same month in 2023.
  • Year-to-date exports (Jan-Nov): $5.76 billion, showing a 19% growth from the previous year.
  • 12-month total exports: $6.48 billion, a rise of 18.4% compared to the previous year.

Looking ahead

Türkiye’s defense industry is projected to export products to 178 countries in 2024, marking another major achievement.

The SSB plans to continue expanding its international presence, focusing on both large defense companies and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs). The aim is to increase the number of exporting companies and secure sustainable growth for the sector.
