Türkiye rescues 71 migrants pushed back by Greek forces

The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 71 irregular migrants who had been pushed back into Turkish territorial waters by Greek naval forces.
According to a statement from the Coast Guard Command on Sunday, teams were dispatched after receiving information about a group of irregular migrants on dinghies in the Aegean Sea off the coast of Türkiye’s Mugla province.
The teams successfully rescued the migrants, including 11 children, from five dinghies.
The migrants were brought to Datca Pier and handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Immigration after processing.
