Türkiye, Bulgaria deputy FMs meet to enhance bilateral cooperation
Deputy foreign ministers of Türkiye and Bulgaria hold meeting to discuss steps to improve cooperation in key areas
Türkiye’s Deputy Foreign Minister Yasin Ekrem Serin held a meeting with Bulgaria’s Deputy Foreign Minister Irena Dimitrova on Friday to explore avenues for bolstering bilateral cooperation.
“Steps to improve cooperation as well as issues on our common agenda were discussed,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry affirmed that the meeting explored various aspects of cooperation, particularly consular affairs, migration, and other pertinent items on the shared agenda.
“During the meeting, steps to improve our cooperation, especially on consular matters and migration, as well as issues on our common agenda, were discussed in detail,” the ministry stated on social media platform X.
Serin, who embarked on a two-day visit to Bulgaria starting Thursday, emphasized the significance of fostering stronger ties between the two nations.
