Turkish and Kazakh foreign ministers discuss enhanced cooperation in various fields during Antalya meeting ahead of Diplomacy Forum

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu in Antalya ahead of the third Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which will be held on March 1-3.

The ministers discussed the potential steps to enhance cooperation in the defense industry, education, and culture fields.

In a meeting focused on bilateral political relations, Fidan and Nurtleu reviewed upcoming trade, energy, and transportation projects. They also noted exceeding last year’s target of $10 billion in trade volume between the two countries.

The meeting included a comprehensive discussion of regional challenges, identifying potential areas for collaboration within the Turkic States Cooperation framework.
