Turkish intelligence eliminates PKK/YPG so-called leader Serkan Nazlier in operation
Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) successfully neutralized Serkan Nazlier, a senior terrorist organization PKK/YPG figure, in a targeted operation.
Nazlier, who was on Türkiye’s red list of most-wanted individuals, was reportedly one of the group’s top commanders.
The operation was part of ongoing efforts to combat terrorism within Türkiye and across its borders. Turkish intelligence sources confirmed that Nazlier had been a key operative within the PKK/YPG, a designated terrorist organization by both Türkiye and its international allies.
