Turkish intelligence eliminates 2 senior PKK/YPG terrorists in northern Iraq
The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has successfully eliminated two senior figures of the PKK/YPG/KCK terrorist organization in northern Iraq.
Kurdish Communities Union (KCK) is an umbrella body of the PKK terrorist group and its Syrian and Iranian offshoots.
The operation, conducted in the Suleymaniyah region, targeted Caize Selber and Emine Ulas, both of whom were responsible for extorting local populations in support of the terrorist group’s activities.

According to Turkish authorities, Caize Selber and Emine Ulas were high-ranking members of the PKK/YPG/KCK terrorist organization and played key roles in collecting illegal levies from civilians in the region.
These extortion practices have long been used by the PKK/YPG/KCK to finance their operations, particularly in rural areas where the group maintains influence.

The MIT operation in Suleymaniyah is part of Türkiye’s ongoing efforts to combat the PKK/YPG/KCK, which has been responsible for numerous attacks against Turkish forces and civilians.
Both Selber and Ulas were involved in the group’s financial network, and their neutralization marks a significant blow to the organization’s infrastructure.
