Turkish intelligence chief to hold talks in US, meet CIA chief

The head of the National Intelligence Organization Kalin to hold crucial talks in the U.S., focusing on counterterrorism efforts, regional issues, and ongoing conflicts

The head of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Ibrahim Kalin is set to engage in high-level discussions during his upcoming visit to the U.S.

Kalin’s agenda includes a meeting with CIA chief William Burns in Washington, D.C., as well as engagements at the White House, Congress, and the State Department.

Key topics of discussion will include bilateral relations, with a focus on combating terrorist groups such as the PKK, Daesh and FETO.

Regional matters, including developments in Iraq and Syria, as well as the situation in the Gaza Strip, will be up for discussion. Additionally, the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, along with the Caucasus issue, will be on the agenda.
