Turkish security forces eliminate 4 PKK terrorists in Iraq, Syria

Turkish security forces eliminated four PKK/YPG terrorists in northern Iraq and Syria, the National Defense Ministry announced Sunday.

The operations resulted in the elimination of two PKK terrorists in the Gara region of northern Iraq and two PKK/YPG terrorists in the Euphrates Shield region of northern Syria.

PKK terrorist group which has offshoots in Iraq and Syria, has been waging a terror campaign against Türkiye for over 40 years.

Listed as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the United States and the European Union, the group has been responsible for the death of some 40,000 people, including women and children.
