Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Friday issued a stark warning against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ongoing attacks in both Palestine and Lebanon.

Speaking at a U.N. Security Council meeting, Fidan stressed that Israel’s unchecked aggression, particularly the bombardment of Lebanon, has placed the region in “uncharted waters.”

“Intense bombing continues unabated, without distinction of civilians and military targets,” Fidan said, urging the Security Council to fulfill its responsibility to stop the war.

He emphasized that peace, through a two-state solution, is the only path to ensuring Israel’s security, cautioning that Netanyahu’s political ambitions should not jeopardize regional stability.

Fidan concluded by calling for immediate action to halt the violence, reiterating that “Israeli aggression” must be stopped to prevent further chaos.

“Political or individual interests of Netanyahu and his fundamentalist partners should not endanger regional stability and international order,” Fidan added.
