Turkish FM Fidan to meet Russia’s President Putin
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This meeting is expected to further address critical bilateral and international issues.
Fidan is continuing his diplomatic engagements in Russia, with his latest stop in the city of Nizhny Novgorod.
Fidan participated in the BRICS+ session, an event organized under the umbrella of the 10-member BRICS group. The meeting focused on crucial issues such as international security, sustainable development, and global governance. Alongside the BRICS member states, foreign ministers from 15 guest countries, including Türkiye, were present.
Series of high-level meetings
During his visit, Fidan held discussions with several high-ranking Russian officials, including Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The talks covered a range of topics, including bilateral and regional relations, economic matters of importance to Türkiye, and the latest developments in Gaza.
Fidan met with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla in Nizhny Novgorod, where he was to attend the BRICS+ Meeting.

- Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin
