Turkish flags grace Cappadocia balloons on Canakkale Victory Day

Hot-air balloons adorned with Turkish flags soared high into the sky to celebrate the 109th anniversary of the pivotal triumph achieved during World War I on Canakkale Victory Day, also remembered as Martyrs Day, in Türkiye’s tourism paradise Cappadocia, renowned for its breathtaking sights and historical heritage.
Preparations were completed early in the morning and the balloons were ready to take off for the tourists.
Some hot air balloons, bearing the Turkish flag, rose into the sky.
The balloons flew for about an hour over the famous sights of Cappadocia, such as the Kiliclar and Gulludere valleys.
Balloons rising from the areas around Nevsehir’s Goreme town floated over the fairy chimneys with a red Turkish flag.
These impressive sights allowed tourists to explore the region’s magnificent beauty and historical heritage.
