The Turkish Coast Guard Command has demonstrated exceptional dedication and efficiency over the past month, rescuing a total of 252 individuals from various life-threatening situations at sea.

Extensive vessel inspections

Between July 1 and July 31, the Coast Guard conducted thorough inspections of 11,557 maritime vessels nationwide. These inspections were crucial in maintaining safety and security on Türkiye’s waters.

Rescuing migrants and children

During the same period, the Turkish Coast Guard successfully rescued 3,282 irregular migrants, including 1,191 children. These operations highlight ongoing efforts to manage and respond to the challenges of irregular migration.

The Turkish Coast Guard’s heroic efforts resulted in the rescue of 252 individuals in distress. Additionally, 46 patients and injured persons received medical evacuations, ensuring they received the necessary medical care promptly.

The Coast Guard’s operations are a testament to their unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and maintaining maritime security.
