Türkiye has long served as a crucial transit point for asylum seekers seeking to enter Europe in search of safety and new opportunities, particularly those escaping conflict and persecution.
Ankara, along with global rights organizations, has consistently criticized Greece for its illegal practice of forcibly pushing back migrants, a violation of humanitarian principles and international law that places vulnerable migrants, including women and children, at risk.
