Chad’s Transitional President Muhammed Idris Deby Itno bid a heartfelt goodbye to Ambassador Kemal Kaygısız, Türkiye’s envoy to N’Djamena, at the Presidential Palace, demonstrating the long-lasting diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Kaygısız was awarded the First Class National Chad Merit Medal by President Itno at the ceremony that concluded his four-year tenure. This recognition was given in recognition of his unwavering efforts to advance bilateral ties between Chad and Türkiye.
President Itno commended the improved trajectory of Chad-Türkiye ties and expressed his thanks for the envoy’s noteworthy accomplishments, while also thanking Ambassador Kaygısız for his committed service.
President Itno sent his best wishes to Turkish authorities as the ambassador gets ready to wrap up his duty. He specifically mentioned President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and emphasized the need for ongoing collaboration between the two countries.
