Turkish Airlines (THY) announced to resume flights to Beirut, initially halted on Sept. 21 due to security concerns following Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon.

The first flight successfully landed at Beirut Airport today, marking the airline’s return to the route.

Flight schedule gradually expanding

According to an announcement on THY’s website, Beirut flights will start with a single daily flight.

The schedule will expand to two daily flights on Dec. 6, and by Dec. 11, the airline plans to operate four daily flights, returning to its standard timetable.

Flights suspended amid security concerns

THY suspended its Beirut operations in September due to heightened security risks following intensified Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon.

The flights scheduled for Sept. 26–30 were canceled as part of this decision.
