The TCG Kinaliada corvette visited Japan as part of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and Japan, according to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense.
In a post shared on the Ministry of National Defense’s official X account, the following statement was made: “As part of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and Japan, our TCG Kinaliada corvette, which visited Japan, conducted passage exercises with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force’s JS Takanami (110) destroyer.”
