Suspected Daesh terrorist arrested in Afyonkarahisar, Türkiye

A foreign national suspected of being affiliated with the terrorist organization Daesh was apprehended in an operation conducted by Turkish authorities in Afyonkarahisar. The operation was carried out with the assistance of special operations police units.
According to a statement issued by the Afyonkarahisar Provincial Police Department, the suspect, identified as A.B., was found to have been involved in activities within the Daesh organization.
The suspect was arrested at a residence in a coordinated operation involving local law enforcement and special operations units.
The investigation is ongoing, with authorities continuing to process the suspect.
