SOLOTURK conducts flight rehearsal ahead of final show in Fethiye

The final show scheduled on Feb.27 holds significant importance in honoring the 110th death anniversary of Martyr Captain Tayyareci Fethi Bey

SOLOTURK, the aerobatic team of the Turkish Air Force, conducted a rehearsal flight in the Fethiye district Sunday ahead of the final show scheduled on Feb.27 in Mugla.

This rehearsal flight held significant importance in commemorating the 110th death anniversary of Martyr Captain Tayyareci Fethi Bey – a pioneering figure in Turkish aviation history.

In the azure skies of Fethiye, the skilled SOLOTURK pilots executed precise maneuvers, flying nearby over iconic landmarks such as Fethiye Bay, Martyr Fethi Bey Park and the bustling district center. 

Following the successful rehearsal, anticipation heightened for the main event as it was announced that the demonstration flight would take place on Feb.27 at 12:15 p.m.
